So, as it turns out, the calf is a girl (has been the whole time!) DH said he just looked from a distance yesterday and saw the umbilical cord and thought it was something else. ???? Oh well, I'm just doing the happy dance that we have a healthy calf and mama.

Her name is Kahra... Cold in English, because it was a cold night that she was born.

So, babe and Mom are doing well... but... it's a boy not a girl... sigh, I just did a quick feel/look and didn't find anything so thought it was a girl... dh went out this morn and came in to tell me.

Happy they are healthy!

So I have been participating in a spinning activity called Tour de Fleece that has been happening while the Tour de France is happening. We have the same break days and a challenge day. My goal was to spin every day. That may not seem much for most, but that is a lot for me with my busy schedule. So at the end of 3 weeks this is what I was able to accomplish~

This is quite an accomplishment for me. Now to make some mitts and scarves to sell at market!
